Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy We at RMZ Corp have always focused on reducing our environmental footprint, while improving performance. We strive to build a sustainable environment and at the same time provide a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees. One of our many green initiatives is to promote the usage of recycled materials. To ensure a safe and hygienic work environment, we arrange for the appropriate disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial, chemical and labor camp waste. At the construction site, sufficient drinking water tanks are provided and marked with adequate sanitation facilities. A hygienic canteen and restroom facility ensures our workers' nutritional and relaxation requirements are well taken care of. Labor camps are made of GI sheets with the ceilings made of non-combustible materials. All living spaces are a minimum of 3 square meters per person and come with proper lighting and ventilation. Each hutment is spaced ten feet away from the next to ensure proper drainage, access and safety. Adequate sanitation facilities are provided for both males and females. The environment surrounding the camp is well illuminated and maintained. Safe drinking water is provided by quality checked dedicated tankers. A centralized crèche is available at the site and camp that is dry, clean, well ventilated and hygienic. Nutritious food, playing and educational toys are provided and their usage is supervised by a qualified and experienced caretaker. First aid boxes are supplied in a ratio of 1:150 to all the residents of the labor camp. No combustible materials are used or stacked in the camp other than cooking fuel which is stored safely following standards and an adequate number of fire extinguishers and fire buckets are provided for. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at the camp to provide a safe environment to the families residing there. Emergency contacts and evacuation instructions are visibly displayed.
